Hello. I am a Registered Psychologist with a genuine passion for working with people. I have had the pleasure of observing the human resiliency and people's sheer determination through my work in the group home system with children and adolescents and with adults through various community agencies. I hold a genuine belief that people have the power to change their own lives. I offer a nonjudgmental, empathic and compassionate therapeutic space. I have a personal faith background which allows me to offer faith-based counselling for clients who want to integrate spirituality in sessions. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring various cuisines.

It is my hope that we can work together as you strive to see that sliver of light. I see each client as the expert of his/her life. It is you who are in the driver's seat. As your psychologist, I will accompany you in the passenger’s seat and offer supports as you navigate through the tough and unexpected twists and turns of the journey. My approach is integrative and individually tailored. Therefore, at times, we may pull over to the side of the road and employ different strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman Methods. I have worked with individuals, couples and families experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and grief/loss. My clients describe me as warm, nonjudgmental with a good sense of humor and genuine curiosity.

I hold a MA. in Counselling Psychology, and I am in the final stages of completing my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Over the past 3 years, I've used my education and experience to work with individuals and couples to overcome varied mental health issues. I look forward to working with you to overcome the challenges you may be facing on the road to becoming your best self.

One of my favorite quote reads:

"There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure."
